Stephen Gallacher of Scotland claimed his second career European Tour victory and first since the 2004 season this weekend in Dubai at the Omega Dubai Desert Classic. Gallacher claimed a 3-stroke victory over Richard Sterne with the help of five eagles throughout the week. With the win, Gallacher moved into 6th place in the Race to Dubai, and moves into the top-60 of the Official World Golf Ranking.
