TaylorMade Rocketbladez Tour Iron Set

TaylorMade seems to have winners in all of the club categories this season, demonstrated by Dustin Johnson at the 2013 Hyundai Tournament of Champions.  Johnson won using TaylorMade's 2013 R1 Driver and Rocketbladez Tour Iron Set.  The Rocketbladez Tour iron set is TaylorMade's offering for the players iron market category.

The Rocketbladez Tour iron set features new technological advances from TaylorMade.  The Speed Pocket present in the 3 through 7 irons allows for maximum speed off the clubface and therefore maximum distance.  The Speed Pocket also distributes weight for flight enhancement from any club.  The Speed Pocket is designed individually for each club and delivers consistent distance throughout the set.  Weight is redistributed as well, which creates a higher launch and steeper angle of descent for quick stopping on the greens.  The face and grooves are milled for consistent spin.

The club is designed to look like most player's irons on the market today.  A square toe and straight leading edge creates the look good players want while creating consistent movement through the turf.  The Rocketbladez Tour also is designed with a thinner topline and very minimal offset which enhances the look and playability.

Finally, TaylorMade has created an Inverted Cone shape design for the iron.  This, along with all of the other technological advances has made the Rocketbladez Tour one of the longest and best-performing tour iron on the market today.  With a sweet spot larger than any other player's iron on the market, this may be one of the best iron sets ever manufactured.

The irons come stock with the KBS Tour iron shaft and retails for $899.99 in 3-PW
