Callaway X Hot and X Hot Pro Fairway Wood

Callaway's 2013 fairway wood line-up is much like the lineup of the past years, but some new technological advances make the X Hot and X Hot Pro Fairway Woods some of the top fairway woods on the market today.  Callaway has employed the forged cup face design to its fairway woods for the first time, allowing the face thickness to be better controlled for more distance.  This advance has allowed Callaway to push the face thickness and performance near USGA maximums without increasing face size or adding a slot like Taylormade.

The X Hot and X Hot Pro fairway woods have dynamic weight projection, which moves the Center of Gravity of the clubs lower and further forward to optimize launch and spin characteristics of the clubs.  Players will notice the higher launch with less spin than Callaway fairway woods of the past.

The X Hot Fairway wood will come in lofts of 15, 17, 19, 21, 23, and 25 degrees and will come stock with a "made-for" Project X shaft.  The club will come stock at 43.5 inches (3 wood).  The face angle of the X Hot fairway will be square.

The X Hot Pro fairway wood will come in lofts of 13.5, 15, 17, and 19 degrees and will come stock with a real True Temper Project X Velocity shaft, available in 5.5, 6.0, and 6.5.  The 3 wood will be 43 inches stock and the club will have a face angle of 1 degree open.

The X Hot Fairway will retail for 229.99.
The X Hot Pro will retail for 249.99.

Each club will be released on January 25th.
