Hole 3 is the first of four par 3s at The Olympic Club. Players will be forced to hit a long tee shot from 247 yards downhill to a well-bunkered green. The green is relatively small for a long par 3, and players will have difficulty judging the wind. These factors, along with the rough and bunkerage, will make hole 3 play as the toughest par 3 on the course. The 229 yard tee box will also be utilized sometime during the tournament.
