The LPGA tour has announced that 4 new events have been added for the 2012 season. Three of the four tournaments added are to be played in the United States, including the Jamie Farr Classic in Ohio, which was skipped the past year. Another popular tour stop in Virginia has also been added to the season.
New tournaments have also been announced in Hawaii and Canada, which beefs up a schedule that had been dwindling for the last couple years. The tour also starts with a stop in Australia at Royal Melbourne to start the season in early February.
Hopefully this is a good sign for the tour and hopefully they can continue to find sponsors and add venues to make the tour the best Women's tour in the world.
