Hole 4 is a dogleg left par 4 that plays 438 yards. A unique aspect of The Olympic Club first comes into play here, as the fairway cants left to right as the hole moves right to left. This requires players to hit a right to left shot to have any chance of hitting the fairway. The uphill approach will play from a hanging lie for many right handed players, and the green is one of the most challenging at The Olympic Club, sloping severely from back left to front right.
