This past weekend at the Valero Texas Open, a new set of irons was spotted on the range. Adams, even after purchase by Taylor Made-Adidas, has unveiled its new iron set, the Adams CMB irons. These irons look to be about the size of the Titleist AP2s and PING I20 iron sets, which falls right into the mold of the most popular irons today. The smaller profile, topline, and reduced offset will appeal to the better golfer and the forgiveness will also be welcomed by all.
These irons look like they will be a smash hit and will further vault Adams into the top echelon of club makers.
They will be forged with 8620 carbon steel and will have the signature soft feel of a forged iron. I cannot wait to give them a try when they are released.
